I loved all the planning with Kathryn and my signature ‘just picked’ style added a relaxed, natural feel to the bridal bouquets. Huge congratulations to you both and thank you for sharing these beautiful memories captured by Adam & Grace with me.
Kelly & Niall married 30 Sep 2017 with a beautiful ceremony in The Mill at Ballydugan. Kelly chose a woodland theme to compliment the venue’s rustic style with log slices for her guest tables and rich autumnal colours and texures in her bouquet. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of pale pink hydrangea with baby’s breath, while the men’s buttonholes featured Black Bacarra roses with blue thistles! Wishing you both lots of happiness as you celebrate your first anniversary and thank you for sharing these beautiful memories with me.

I love a wildflower wedding and when Mary married Jason last August in my home village of Loughbrickland, I got to mix fresh seasonal wildflowers in shades of lilac and lavender with a little bit of wheat for a nod to the season and the resulting bouquets were just fab!! Plus we had lots of pretty details with hair flowers, rustic buttonholes and gin bottle tablecentres!
Mary & Jason are celebrating their first anniversary today and I wanted to celebrate it by sharing some of their precious memories. Happy anniversary guys and thank you for choosing Ditsy Floral Design to be involved in your special day. Photos by Mark Barton Photography.
Mary also sent me this lovely comment:
“Thank you so so much Elaine!! I loved my flowers!!! You made everything come together so perfectly!!!! Amazing job!!!”
It was my pleasure xx

Emma & Iain are celebrating their first anniversary and it’s the perfect time to share some of their beautiful memories captured by Francis Meaney Photography.
They were married in the gorgeous surrounds of Tankardstown House (a definite favourite venue). The bridal bouquets were the prettiest pastel pink colour theme with my signature ‘just picked posy’ styling for the bridal bouquets. Gorgeous sweet avalanche and sweet dolomiti roses with scented stocks, lisianthus, astilbe, nigella and baby’s breath.
Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Miskelly and thanks for choosing Ditsy Floral Design.

Janet & Gregory’s gorgeous sunny, happy wedding day by the sea at Tyrella, County Down.
They are celebrating their first anniversary today and it’s the perfect excuse to share some beautiful memories of their wedding day by Barley House Photography.
They were married in the prettiest old stone church near Tyrella Beach and celebrated in The Millbrook Lodge, Ballynahinch.
Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Croft and thank you for sharing these beautiful memories with me xx
I am so excited to share these memories from Joanna & Patrick’s wedding at The Mill at Ballydugan, 2nd December 2017. Gorgeous wildflower styling and rich jewel colours, this wedding just epitomises my ‘just picked’ wildflower floristry style.
These beautiful photos were captured by Peter Mackey Photography. Thank you for sharing them with me and giving me free reign to design and create your beautiful bridal bouquets. Much love xx.
This is one of my Epic Weddings of 2016 and as Heather & Gary celebrated their first anniversary over the weekend it’s timely to share these beautiful images captured by Kirsty-Lyn Jameson Photography.
The venue florals featured on-trend greenery with an unique Floating Arch Installation at the front of the ceremony room with wild and whimsical trailing foliages (yes, it was me up a ladder an hour before the guests arrived). While the long tables in the barn were dressed with flowing greenery garlands created by Ditsy Floral and twinkly mercury glass tea lights and linens supplied by Grace & Saviour. It was all so pretty and perfect for the rustic surrounds of the barn.
The girls wore decadent silver bronze sequin gowns and the bouquets were large, loose and lush in strong shades of lavender, coral pink, burgundy with lots of foliage texture. And as for the bride, well she was stunning in a vintage style slim fitting embellished fish tail dress and quirky birdcage head piece, her bouquet was a fresh free-form design with trailing foliages and gorgeous garden dahlias. Thank you and Happy Anniversary Heather & Gary xx.

Fiona & Keith are celebrating their ONE year anniversary today and I thought it was the perfect excuse to share some beautiful memories from their autumn wedding.
They were married in Saint Therese Church Banbridge and continued the celebrations in elegant surrounds of The Manor House Hotel. The bridesmaids wore a deep Bordeaux Red colour and the bride accessorised her lace embellished dress with a grey belt, grey shoes and a cosy grey fur stole. So I wanted to bring the deep red and grey colours into the bride’s bouquet with contrasting lilac and soft blush colours and the result was one of my absolute favourites from 2015 which makes me so excited to share these gorgeous images taken by Wild Daisy Art Photography.
The bride’s bouquet contained black backer, memory lane and upper secret roses with silvery succulents, silver brunia berries, peach hypericum, astilbe, wax flower, baby’s breath and eucalyptus. The bridesmaid posies were fluffy clouds of baby’s breath mixed with wax flower for a wintery touch!
The new Mr & Mrs McVitty had a biscuit themed table plan which I just loved and had to mention as it makes me smile to think of it. I would definitely have wanted to be on the custard cream table!!
Happy anniversary guys xx
Judith and Michael sent me these beautiful photos of their magical day back in March. Judith’s wildly romantic free form spring bouquet in a fresh ivory and green colour palette is an all time favourite. Garden style with loose and natural foliages it featured ivory roses, white ranunculus, white anemones, freesia, scented stocks, baby’s breath, wax flower with eucalyptus, fern and green bell love it!
Judith was a delight to work with and we had such fun planning the rustic vintage wildflower venue styling for The Tullylagan House Hotel outside Cookstown.
These beautiful photos were taken by Graham Crichton Photography, the Northern Ireland Wedding Awards 2016 Photographer of the Year and clearly a very talented guy. You can check out all the photo’s on Graham’s blog here: http://www.grahamcrichton.com/2016/04/wedding-early-spring-tullylagan-house-hotel-wedding-judith-and-michael/
Congratulations Judith and Michael, it was an honour to be part of your special day.
