Imagine a day filled with crisp autumn air, creative floristry, foraged treasures, and a luxurious 5-course Afternoon Tea – all set against the picture-perfect backdrop of Blackwell House. This is not just a workshop – it’s an experience.
11:00am – Welcome Drink
Ease into the day with a warm mulled apple punch or a chilled glass of Prosecco, and feel the gentle embrace of Blackwell’s hospitality.
11:15am – Garden Foraging & Nature Walk
Join expert florist Elaine from Ditsy Floral Design for a wander through Blackwell House’s abundant gardens. Forage armfuls of seasonal foliage and learn to select the perfect textures and tones for your wreath masterpiece. (Please dress warmly and wear outdoor footwear.)
12:00pm – Wreath Making Workshop
Back indoors, settle into a hands-on session where you’ll craft your own autumn wreath using a sustainable moss and wire base (foam-free). Overflowing with charm, colour, and personal flair, your wreath will be a stunning addition to your home or a heartfelt handmade gift. Elaine will guide you every step of the way, leaving you with skills to create again and again.
1:30pm – Five-Course Luxury Afternoon Tea
Edele and the Blackwell House team invite you to an unforgettable Afternoon Tea – a feast of delicate savouries, seasonal treats, and exquisite sweets, served in the elegant, cosy surroundings of the house. No table-turning here – your afternoon is yours to savour at leisure.
